Welcome to Golden Padel

Golden Padel started with a family holiday, a padel court in Spain, and a sport we couldn't stop thinking about.

Back in the early 2000s, our family had a property out in Spain. The complex had a padel court, and we'd stand and watch others play before jumping on ourselves. It was brilliant. Fast, fun, easy to love. Then life carried on, and padel stayed in Spain for the next few years.

It was only after my health took a serious turn at the end of 2018, a long illness I'm still living with and managing day to day, and then a hip replacement in 2021, that padel came back into our lives properly. Sport had always been part of who I am, and losing the ability to just get out and play is genuinely tough. There were long stretches where getting through the day was the whole job, never mind playing sport. It changes how you think about what actually matters, and what you want to spend your energy on.

What I kept coming back to was that feeling on that court in Spain. And a question: why aren't more people in the UK getting to feel this?

That's why Golden Padel exists.

We Do Things Differently

There's a lot of padel gear out there with big price tags and fancy marketing that doesn't really mean anything. We built Golden Padel because we wanted to do it differently.

We're a small team based in Dorset, and we genuinely care about getting people on court. Not because it's good for business, but because padel changes things for people, it changed things for me. Everything we've created comes from real testing with real players. No buzzwords, no nonsense. Just rackets that work, feel good in your hand, and won't cost you a fortune.

Why Community Actually Matters

Padel is growing, but it's still not reaching everyone who might love it. There are kids who'd be brilliant at the sport but never get the chance. Communities that don't have access to courts or the money to get started. People who think it's just a game for a certain crowd.

We're trying to change that. We connect with local clubs and run demo sessions where people can try the rackets with no pressure to buy. We're not trying to be a big corporate thing. We just want to help get padel to the people who'd genuinely benefit from it, including people for whom sport doesn't come easily.
